A lungi's size is its length from waist to hem, because the width — the loop — fits everyone once it is folded and tucked at the waist. Our sizes are 2.15 metres for average height, 2.25 for taller men and 2.4 for the tall; the product page lists which lengths a piece comes in.

A lungi should sit at the ankle when tucked at the navel. If you are between sizes, take the longer one: a long lungi can be tucked a little higher, a short one cannot grow. Cotton loses a little length in the first wash, which is one more reason to go long.
